    The natural health industry – which is thriving and growing in our polluted world – seems constantly under attack. The battle between the rights of consumers, natural health practitioners and healthfood manufacturers versus the corporate health and pharmaceutical giants, is presently being stepped up worldwide.  The pharmaceutical cartel is extremely powerful and its agenda is being followed and adhered to by governments around the world. The pharma industry lobbys governments and trade groups, bringing pressure to bear on newspaper editors and media outlets. Health and medical writers often write negative articles about natural health therapies and products. During the last few years, it has been organic high potency vitamins, minerals and food supplements that have received a bad press, as well as any therapy such as herbalism or homeopathy that involves taking pills or capsules which are in direct competition with orthodox medicine. These products and therapies are losing the pharmas millions per annum. The reason for these attacks is because the pharma cartel want to take over and control this highly lucrative market to produce synthetic, low dose vitamins, supplements and herbal preparations of questionable benefit to consumers.     FDA WARNING FUELS NEED FOR FEDERAL PROTECTIONS AGAINST FORCED MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR PSYCHIATRIC DRUGGING IN SCHOOLS
    On Monday, March 22, 2004, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a public health advisory putting doctors on notice and to be vigilant for signs of suicidality or worsening depression with the use of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant drugs use. Patients, families and other caregivers are also warned. The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR), an international psychiatric watchdog group, says the warning does not go far enough-the potential for antidepressants to cause suicidal and self-injurious behavior has been established-the drugs should not be prescribed to children at all.

    100 Guinea-Pig Kids The state Health Department has launched a probe into potentially dangerous drug research conducted on HIV-infected infants and children at a Manhattan foster-care agency. Some 50 foster kids were used as "guinea pigs" in 13 experiments with high doses of AIDS medications at Manhattan's Incarnation Children's Center. "They are torturing these kids, and it is nothing short of murder," said Michael Ellner, a minister and president of Health Education AIDS Liaison.  AIDS/HIV: drug free solutions

    From ABCnews.com: "Many veterinarians believe the practice of annual vaccinations is an unnecessary evil, responsible for such diseases as allergy, seizures, anemia, even cancer. They say vaccinations make our animals vulnerable to some of the top diseases plaguing our pets, and that rather than building up immunity we are overwhelming their immune systems. In 1991, three years after Pennsylvania issued a mandatory rabies vaccination requirement for cats, Dr. Mattie Hendrick's lab at the University of Pennsylvania noted a connection between the surprising increase in the number of sarcomas, or cancerous tumors, and vaccination in cats. It seemed that in some cats, rabies vaccinations were leading to an inflammatory reaction under the skin. Shortly after, researchers at the University of California at Davis showed that feline leukemia vaccines were also likely to cause sarcomas, and to an even greater degree than the rabies vaccine. Further investigating led researchers to estimate the prevalence of vaccine-induced sarcomas to be as much as one cat in 1,000, or up to 22,000 new cases of sarcoma a year.     Pet Owners Warned to Check With Local Shelters Before Buying Pet ID Microchips WASHINGTON— The HSUS and animal care and control organizations today cautioned pet owners that the nation’s animal shelters may not have scanning devices that can detect the presence of certain pet identification microchips currently on the market. The incompatibility between scanners and microchips mean some micro-chipped animals entering shelters may not be properly identified.

    Omega-3 fatty acids and Equine Health  Numerous studies have been conducted at the Department of Large Animal Medical College, University of Georgia in Athens involving the supplementation of essential fatty acids. The studies concluded that the introduction of Omega-3 fatty acids decreases the adverse effects of equine endotoxemia therefore inhibiting the occurrence of laminitis, organ failure, colic and other systemic complications.
